Trans-Sierra Trek

John Muir Trail, King's Canyon National Park, Evolution Region

This challenging trek crosses the Sierra Nevada range from east to west. We'll follow the John Muir Trail into King's Canyon and the Evolution Region.

We'll camp by exquisite Evolution Lake in the shadow of Mt. Darwin and Mt. Mendel, and cross two 12,000' passes. We'll also soak in wilderness hot springs. If your spirit is drawn to high places, if you're a strong, stout-hearted woman and an experienced hiker--don't miss this premiere high Sierra adventure.
