Lake Tahoe
Cross-Country Ski
and Snowshoe
with Yoga & Lakeview Lodging
Join us for a weekend of exercise and relaxation
at Lake Tahoe. What's your sport --skiing or snowshoeing? You can
take your pick.
First-time beginners can learn the basics of cross-country
skiing or snowshoeing. If you've done either sport before, we'll
work on refining your technique.
Our skiing lessons will focus on basic striding
technique, and will also include instruction on step turns and more
advanced turns.
After your time outdoors, you'll enjoy good food,
fun, and spirited conversation around the fireplace in our lodging,
a comfortable lakeview home. Our Tahoe trips feature delicious feasts
created by Carole Latimer (who loves to cook), and yoga classes
taught by your ski instructor, exercise physiologist Tacy Weeks
Hahn. Tacy has taught cross-country skiing
for more than 20 years and has been on the Tahoe Nordic Search &
Rescue Team.
Call of the Wild trips include
experienced leadership, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, 2 nights lodging
in a comfortable home with a view of the lake, yoga-stretch sessions,
ski or snowshoe lessons, and fine food from recipes
in Carole Latimer's cookbook, Wilderness
Cuisine.
