Hiking and Kayaking

Discover another side of Hawaii, away from the hotels and condos, that most people never see. We'll stay in Hawaiian Huts for 4 nights of our trip and enjoy snorkeling at Poipu Beach, hiking in the high rain forest far above the Na Pali Coast, and see other sights on the south side of the island.

Then we'll head for our private lodging on Kauai's magical north shore. A highlight of our trip is a boat ride along Kauai's fabulous Na Pali Coast. By boat we'll explore sea caves and beaches on the Na Pali Coast, see archeological sites of ancient Hawaiians, and along the way see playful dolphins, sea turtles, and other marine wildlife.

With local guides we'll kayak in the turquoise waters of the north shore, hike to waterfalls and hidden valleys—and there will be plenty of time for relaxing on the north shore's gorgeous beaches.

We've been taking people to Kauai for over 25 years and have developed many local contacts to give you an authentic Hawaiian experience. Our food is outstanding and prepared by a local chef. We'll feast on food gathered from the ocean and local gardens and even have authentic traditional Hawaiian dishes such as poi, lau-laus, grilled ahi, and lomi-lomi salmon.

We are rating this trip Moderate, but all activities are optional. If you wish to take it easy and spend more time hanging out on the beach, you have the freedom to do that.
