Here's how to sign up for a trip:
Step 1:
Read our policies carefully before you sign up for a trip.
Step 2:
Send us the Quick Reservation. This
will reserve your place on the trip for seven (7) days, pending
receipt of your deposit. Checks accepted for deposits and balance payments as we are not processing credit cards at this time.
Step 3:
Print out the Trip Application
form. Fill it out, and mail it to us with your deposit before the
seven-day deadline is up. Your deposit reserves your place on the
trip.

Refunds & Cancellations
Please note that if you cancel your trip we do not
give refunds; however, you may qualify for a credit.
We strongly recommend that you buy Trip Cancellation
Insurance, available through insurance companies and travel agents.
We provide TravelGuard insurance brochures and a link to the TravelGuard Web site for your convenience. However, there are many travel insurance companies such as HTH Worldwide, Travel Safe, and Travel Insured. When you buy travel insurance, it is your responsibility to know the restrictions and provisions of your policy.

Cancellation Policy
1. The date of your cancellation is the date we
receive written notice (i.e., e-mail, fax, or mail) that you must
cancel your trip.
A. If the trip is full, we'll refund the trip cost less a $75 fee and any nonrefundable deposits paid to third parties.
B. If we cannot fill your space, you may qualify
for a credit. Your credit is good for one year from the start date
of your trip and must be applied to a trip of equal or greater
value than the trip you canceled.
Credit can only be used as a payment on the balance
after the deposit has been paid.
Credits will be given as follows: More than 90 days before your trip, we’ll give you 50% credit of your deposit and a 100% credit of all other moneys paid less nonrefundable deposits to third parties; 60-90 days before your trip, we’ll give you a 50% credit of all moneys paid less nonrefundable deposits to third parties; Less than 60 days, you do not qualify for a credit.
2. If a trip or class must be canceled due to circumstances
beyond our control, such as government intervention or restrictions, border closures, terrorist attack, weather, political unrest, forest
fires, or closed roads, Call of the Wild, LLC will reschedule the activity
or issue partial credit. On certain trips there are nonrefundable deposits paid to third parties. In these cases, a partial credit equal to trip cost minus nonrefundable third party deposits will be applied.
3. If Call of the Wild, LLC cancels due to insufficient
sign-ups, we will issue a full refund or a credit, as you wish.
We reserve the right to cancel any trip which is not economically
feasible for us to operate, and we are not responsible for additional
expenses incurred by members preparing for the trip (i.e., non-refundable
airline tickets, equipment, visas, and so on.)

What Your Trip Includes
Trip prices include experienced leadership,
tents or lodging, group equipment, a pre-trip class, and excellent
food. Other special items may be included as well: yoga instruction,
pack animals, bush planes, an archaeology tour, and more.
What to Bring
We provide most of the equipment for your
trip. On receipt of your deposit, we'll send you a specific list
of things to bring. You provide your clothing and personal gear:
sleeping bag and pad, and daypack or backpack. These things can
be rented. Our equipment list will help you choose just the right
clothing and gear for your trip.
Transportation
Unless specifically indicated on the itinerary,
transportation is not included in the price of your trip. However,
we can give you guidance on travel arrangements, put you in contact
with other trip participants from your area, and help arrange car
rental sharing.
We provide detailed directions to the trip meeting
place, and we can help you with carpoolingparticularly to
destinations in proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Permits
We are fully insured and operate under special use permits
issued by Inyo National Forest, Yosemite, Sequoia, and Grand Canyon National Parks, the Bureau of
Land Management, and others. In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy,
this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex,
