Hot Springs in the Redwoods

We backpack 8 miles into a secluded camp in a redwood grove on the Big Sur River. Then we dayhike into the fern-banked hot springs along the river, and enjoy a luxurious soak.

Before returning home, we lunch at Nepenthe, a restaurant with fabulous views of the Big Sur coast.

We've been taking groups into these hot springs since 1979. This is one of our most popular weekend trips.
