Life Among the Caribou People in the Brooks Range

Join us in the land of the midnight sun where July temperatures are often in the 70s and 80s. We'll fly north of the Arctic Circle then boat upriver to stay with Gwich'in Athabaskans at their traditional summer fishing camp sharing in their lifestyle and culture.

Arctic Village, in the Chandalar River Valley at the edge of the Brooks Range, is within the 8.9 million acre Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. With sweeping views of the Brooks Range, we'll hike daily in the Arctic Refuge. We hope you'll join us on this exciting adventure experiencing the cultures and wilderness of Alaska.
